A Lichtblick is a positive event, person, or detail that brings comfort or optimism during a difficult, stressful, or sad time. For me, photography is the art of seeking out exactly these moments. When the world feels heavy or simply moves too fast, my camera is my tool to pause, breathe, and capture the light that slips through the cracks. It is my truest form of expression. Through my lens, I don't just want to document what I see - I want to hold onto that feeling of warmth. My ultimate hope is that the images I create bring you joy and perhaps become a small Lichtblick in your own life.

I’m Alex, a hobby photographer based in Germany.
My journey with photography started when I first picked up my father's camera. I tried to capture the world around me. I was still a child, so I took a lot of detailed pictures of flowers and insects.....Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to mastering the subtle dance between light, shadow, and authentic, unscripted emotion.
